The Palacete de la Viña de Cristo is the home of the old Viña de Cristo, built in 1860 for Apolinario Soto, owner of the Tres Puntas silver mine, which followed Chañarcillo in importance. It was the most luxurious mansion in the province, built in a Georgian style in the southern United States.



Its construction is of stuccoed wood. Its façade with Corinthian-style columns and its New Orleans-inspired wrought iron balconies stand out. Inside, a fine wood spiral staircase shows a unique realization.
